Introduction About Cross Stitch
Cross stitch is today’s most popular needlework. It is one of the oldest forms of embroidery and can be found all over the world. The first embroidery stitch that we learn as children is cross stitch. It’s easy, quick and fun to learn and can be very addictive. You will see it being done by children, moms, sisters and even senior citizens,
Cross stitch is a form of counted-thread embroidery in which X-shaped stitches in a tiled pattern are used to form a picture. Cross stitch transfers a design from a printed graph onto countable even-weave fabric.
Although we still use the same basic stitch, today cross-stitch has become a well sophisticated and absolutely fascinating skill.
